Erin’s QiGong classes are designed to introduce participants to the basic foundations of Five Elements and Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as teach a simple yet profound sequence of movements that are simple, relaxing, enjoyable.
QiGong (pronounced “Chee gong”) is a branch of Chinese Medicine (along with acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, tui na) with roots in Taoism that incorporates gentle stretches, strengthening postures, flowing movement, breath work and meditation.
It is a form of self-healing that helps clear emotional stress and release physical lines of tension to promote a sense of well-being, induce deep relaxation, improve immunity and build a healthy reservoir of energy.
